Ok... I've had my setbacks, gotten depressed, mad, you name it. Now it's time to get back to basics and do 2 weeks of induction. It's been awhile, so I'd like to start in a couple of days... that way I'll have time to read all the induction rules again and go shopping.
Anyone want to join in? _________________ url=http://www.TickerFactory.com/weight-loss/whDwhiA/]

Think Saturday would be a good day, or do you want to start fresh on Monday? I'm doing my best to eat clean, but pure induction couldn't hurt one bit. _________________ Dingie Dinah

Alrighty then.... since Kath will be away, why don't we all start on Monday?? Sound good? I'm so glad y'all are joining in... it makes it "much more better"! LOL
We can also all refresh ourselves on the rules of induction that way too and have a chance to go grocery shopping as well.
Found this on the Atkins website...(and I don't agree with the highlighted portion of #5... Dr. Atkins original book didn't say that... but thats just mho.)
Ten Easy Steps to Induction
Ready to start losing weight on Atkins? Induction is the first phase of the Atkins Nutritional Approach™. Stay on it for at least two weeks, and follow these 10 steps to get on your way:
1. Eat either three regular-size meals a day or four or five smaller meals. Don't skip meals or go more than six waking hours without eating.
2. Eat liberal amounts of protein, such as poultry, fish, shellfish, eggs and red meat, as well as natural fats, such as butter, mayo, olive oil and safflower oil (see the Acceptable Foods List).
3. Eat about 20 grams of carbs each day, mostly in the form of salad greens and other vegetables. You should eat at least four cups of salad vegetables, or three cups of salad vegetables plus one cup of other vegetables (see the Acceptable Vegetables List).
4. Don't eat any fruit (except for avocados, tomatoes and olives), bread, pasta, grains, starchy vegetables or dairy products other than cheese, cream or butter. Don't eat nuts or seeds in the first two weeks. Foods that combine protein and carbohydrates, such as lentils, chickpeas, kidney beans and other legumes, are not permitted at this time.
5. If you’re hungry between meals, enjoy a low-carb snack, such as a hard-boiled egg, some cheese, olives or a low-carb snack such as an Atkins Advantage™ bar (see list of Induction-appropriate Atkins-brand products).
6. Do not eat anything that is not on the Acceptable Foods List.
7. Take a daily multivitamin, essential fatty acids and a fiber supplement.
8. Adjust the quantity of protein you eat to suit your appetite, especially as it decreases. Eat the amount that makes you feel satisfied but not stuffed.
9. Limit coffee, tea and soft drinks that contain caffeine to one or two cups per day. Excessive caffeine has been shown to cause unstable blood sugar and trigger cravings.
10. Drink at least eight 8-ounce glasses of water each day to hydrate your body, avoid constipation and flush out the byproducts of burning fat.
Okey dokey... I'm so glad we're all doing this together! _________________ url=http://www.TickerFactory.com/weight-loss/whDwhiA/]

Ok peoples count me in too! These last 14 pounds are gonna prove to be tough I can see that already. Its like youre trying to reach for something, its right there, but just out of your reach!! GGrrrrrrrrr LOL Besides I love how I feel when I do induction, now youre probably gonna think I'm nuts, but I feel strong, cleansed physically, like my body is loving every minute of it. Monday it is!! _________________ What I accomplish tomorrow is determined by my choices today

Room for a mad scotswoman ?
Monday is a great day for me too...gives me time to prepare my menus for the week, and go shopping after breakfast.
Anyone want the recipe for Thai spinach soup, served with fishcakes and chilli dipping sauce?
Read you all on Monday

If ok with everyone I think I am going to join in the fun (LOL) but only for the next 6 days (Monday to Sat) as I CANNOT do Induction any longer because I get SO bored with the food choices I have(or make for myself) and I do not want that to throw me off track as I have been feeling GREAT about my eating style and not getting bored much at all
If Ok then count me in!!
Do we post starting weight and ending weights, menus or whatever we feel like???
GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!!! _________________
