Hi everyone! My induction is going good so far!

I can't remember Monday, but Yesterday I had a great day.

b - 1/2 cup Cottage Cheese (I know it's not induction friendly, but it's all I had at work

s - Nuttin!

L - 2 dry rubbed ribs, bout 1/2 cup smoked bologna, 1/2 cup coleslaw w/apples which I picked out best I could (boss cooked)

D - 2 hamburger patties w/ co-jack cheese, mushrooms, onions and garlic over the top

S - SF jello cup

Didn't get much exercise, but believe it or not, I am starting to feel a little better!!

Computer is down at work today, and it looks like it may be a major, not a minor problem. May not be around much. HUGZZZZZZZZZZZ

Hey good morning fellow boot campers! OOO AAAHHHH Laughing

Last night I rode my stationary bike 7 miles and then I jumped in my pool---it was beautiful here in Florida, mid to upper 80s. One of the advatages of being here. Wink Of course "Wilma" is the downside...waiting and watching what that b---- decides to do. Crying or Very sad
My menu is pretty much the same as yesterday except dinner will be pork and roasted fennel with a small salad.
Is anyone using the keto sticks? I'm in the purple and I'm happy about that, it's never happened before, however I'm not sure that's any guarantee the pounds will come off. Any experinces for or against?

Sandy... you go girl! Great job with the exercise! I am impressed! Very Happy

Can't tell you one way or the other re: the keto sticks... I'm very rarely deep purple, but I did read an article on Atkins.com that says ANY level of ketosis is good and that lots of water does have the effect of diluting the ketones.

I am going to jump into this challenge late, if that is ok. Embarassed

I've been eating fairly healthy, but not induction. Yesterday and this morning, I had a banana and macadamia nut muffin from George's book, which I take is not allowed on induction. Sad I will stop doing this during the challenge.

I had a shrimp bisque with crabmeat for lunch yesterday and a Caesar salad with grilled salmon (I ate out). I think the soup was fairly healthy, not sure what hidden ingredients were in it though.

For dinner, beanless chilli with sour cream and cheese.

I have printed the induction rules and will follow!

Thanks Shannon-I'm REALLY trying hard. I was so angry when I put on 5 pounds in one week after losing 4 the week before. And I didn't cheat!! I decided I really needed to do some serious exercising Embarassed I've been in a stall for over a month and getting pretty discouraged, that's why I was SO happy Very Happy when you started this challenge. I needed to get off my butt and get moving. Thanks for the motivation! I'm really trying to get to my goal of 110 pounds by the end of the year...or is that asking too much? Confused

Welcome Jeff! Of course you're not too late! FYI... any type of bisque (at a restaurant) usually has flour or cornstarch in the recipe.

Sandy, I don't think your goal is out of reach... but then, you know your body better'n I do! For me, I have to just do it and not focus on the weight issue because when I do that I get frustrated and discouraged... I have to focus on the "journey"... doing what's right for my body and what makes me feel good and KNOW that the weight will fall off of it's own accord if I do that. Very Happy

Hi. Yesterday went as planned. I "forgot" to exercise though. I have George's book here at work today. I'm going to browse for some new ideas and keep the motivation up.

I'll post my menu and exercise later.

I would also like to join--I am hesitant though--I guess it's the "rebelious child" in who doesn't like to conform/follow rules-but alas we all grow up and realize rules are there for reasons. When I first started LC I wouldn't do induction (rules), but I just found out from my dr that even though I am on Zocor and have been for 9 mths, my cholestrol has gone up-so I figured I might as well try Induction full fledge.

Here's what I have had today-not all of it is leagal, but tomorrow's menue will be

B-2 eggbeaters w/ 2 portabella mushrms and cheese, coffee w/ cream

S-peanuts

L-tuna w/ mayo and artichoke hearts (are they legal????)

S-cheese stick (the boys are going to be mad at me for eating their stuff!!!)

D-some sort of salad-probably a taco salad w/o the taco

Hi everyone~ Looks like we are getting a great group together for this induction party... Yesterday went pretty well and today --not too bad.
Exercise -- walked briskly on treadmill 3 miles
B: 1 fried egg ( not very hungry)

L: 1 tossed salad with veggies and chicken pieces with Ranch dressing

S: pork rinds with Diet Rite

D: one helping of deep dish pizza quiche (Hope this is legal but think it should be) Don't know the carbs or the calories for fitday.com
S: Plan on a sugar free jello with whipped cream on top later..

Am trying to walk every day and do weights 2-3 times a week. So far I'm on schedule..

Have a good evening!!!

I am not off to a good start!

Bisque has flour or cornstarch?... AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

*kicking myself*

Yesterday also was not a good day.

B - Stella banana/macadamia muffin (ate it before I realized I would be doing a challenge)

L - Pizza Casserole, little melon, Atkins Bar (all I had at work)

D - McDonalds (didn't eat buns or fries, but it is still horrible)
(I fell compelled to explain. My wife and I had to sign paperwork to refinance the house. By the time we were done, we had nothing prepared for dinner.) I'll try to do better cause I am really trying to avoid fast food.
