thanks for that website deb. looks like a lot of good information. One thing I noticed under symptoms of thyroid dysfunction was a loss of your outer eyebrows!!! I always just thought it was me!!

I agree Dinah - isn't that the oddest thing? I remember reading that way back when, and that's also 'me'. (pencil in - pencil in - not like Tammy Faye though).
Dr. Hart is coming out with a book on hormones & metabolism (what she teaches in her workshops) early 2007. I will definitely be getting it. *Ü* _________________ Started Somersizing Feb. 2001

What they don't tell you is that you lose your outer eyebrows because they start coming out under your chin.....

Well, that is how mine grow, too. I have never heard of that being a symptom of thyroid problems. I've had the blood test run for thyroid function, and according to the docs, mine functions ok. I'm going to do some more reading .......... thanx for sharing, ladies!!

Hi Joyce ~ Ohhhh boy -- you really do have to be your own doctor when it comes to thyroid, unless you're SO lucky and have a great doctor!
I've been seeing a board certified endocrinologist for mine since day 1 and according to him - my current levels are swell too. Well, they're not! He never tested me for the 'free T3'. He still goes by the old gold standard, TSH. It's pretty frustrating.
There's a lot of great info online plus there are support groups as well. I see my endo in less than 2 weeks and I can't even predict what the outcome is going to be... *Ü* _________________ Started Somersizing Feb. 2001
