O.K. call me st_pid but I can not delete a message. I know its trivial but I used the test forum to get my avatar picture set and I can not delete the test message! In most other forums like this that I use there is a delete option in the edit function. But I could not find it. Am I blind or what??? HELP!!!

L.P., That is the way it used to be here to delete too. It threw me for a loop, the first time I wanted to delete one of my messages after the change.
Now, on this forum, to delte your message:
When looking at your message, look in the left corner. By edit, you will see a box with an X. Click the X.
You don't have to go into edit here anymore. _________________ Billie

Thanx for the reply crazywoman!! But I do not see any "x" in the field or entire screen with my message! I like to clean-up after myself but it does not seem that I am smart enough to manage that in this forum!! Oh Well!!

Well now. As I look at my post before anyone has replied I see the "x" that you mentioned. Is there a way to delete a post that has already been replied to?? Or is that a task for the administrator only?

L.P., I wasn't sure on that one myself. I looked it up in the help (found on the navigation bar, far right).
It says you cannot delete your post once someone has replied to it.
I didn't know that.
I think that the administrators & moderators can possibly delte them after they have been replied to. _________________ Billie

I suppose it's set so that only moderators can delete... it doesn't matter though, the test room automatically deletes messages after 7 days. _________________ -Anthony Stella

Hmmm....... Didn't know about the test room automatically deleting after seven days. That's neat, cause after all it is just for testing.
But that must be new with the newly designed site. |

just a note, email or PM me if you need something removed that you cannot. Include your username and the post URL. _________________ -Anthony Stella
