OK Ladies and Gentlemen, here is the first official post of a "different" recipe from me.(or rather 2 recipes from me ) I have never lied to y'all before so trust me on this, it is oh so good! Hope you enjoy and let me know what you think, David
David's Creamy and Satisfying Breakfast
1/2 pound ground beef or sausage
2 tablespoons onion finely minced
3 ounces cream cheese
3 large eggs
1 tablespoon water
dash of salt and pepper
Brown ground beef and onions in skillet. Add cream cheese and cook on low heat until melted. Beat eggs with the water, add the salt and pepper and pour into skillet with beef and cheese. Scramble till done to your liking!
WV style LC Pork Rind Pancakes
2 eggs
1/4 cup heavy cream
1/2 of a 3-oz bag of plain pork rinds
3 Tbs Splenda (or other sugar alternative of your choice)
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 tsp vanilla (sugar free type)
Crumble pork rinds until fine.
In a separate bowl, beat eggs until frothy, add remaining ingredients and mix well. Add pork rinds to the mixture and set aside for 5 minutes to allow batter to thicken.
Cook on a lightly greased skillet. Drop batter in large spoonfuls. Cook until each side is lightly browned.
Serve with butter,& 1/2Tablespoon of sugar-free jam or jelly with 1 and 1/2 Tablespoons water and microwave for 45 seconds. _________________ Praise loudly, blame softly and treat each person you meet as a brother or sister!

David, the egg dish is definitely on for tomorrow morning! Sounds really good.
I have had a similar pork rind pancake that I really liked. I'll be trying that one after next shopping day. I forgot all about pork rinds! I will have to dig out my old recipe file.
I am so happy to have found Stella Style, and to be rediscovering good food! Why the heck did I ever leave??
Thanks for the recipes! Chris |

Chris, Glad to have you around as well! I really like this recipe and it is one of my faves! Now that I am really starting to use my Bowflex intensively, all that protein really helps! Take care and let me know if ya liked it, David _________________ Praise loudly, blame softly and treat each person you meet as a brother or sister!

David, David, David! You are a genius!
When I started to make the egg recipe this morning, I realized that I had used all of my ground beef! However, there was one slice of meatloaf left over so...I crumbled that up in the skillet. I did the rest as your recipe calls for, except for adding some Cholula hot sauce on top, and it was absolutely fabulous! Now I have to try it with just ground beef, which might even be better!
Thanks you so much for posting these!

May have to try that and call it Dinah's creamy and satisfying breakfast! I only eat sausage 2 ways, one-in frozen patties form and second-only then if it's Swaggertys brand and Dinah being where you are, I am sure you have tried Swaggertys sausage in a box. If you haven't, you don't know what you are missing! take care and let me know how it worked out, David _________________ Praise loudly, blame softly and treat each person you meet as a brother or sister!

I've made something similar with sausage & chive cream cheese - oh my! Gotta love Sams Club's 3 lb roll of Jimmy Dean for $4!

| I make scrambles all the time. My idea of a scramble is sautéing whatever meats and vegetables are in the frig and then adding a couple of eggs. I usually use bacon, sausage, left-over meat, peppers and mushrooms. Cheese goes on top. I have never tried mixing cream cheese. That sounds good. |

For anyone but David, yeah it's one serving. For him, as much as he works around his dude ranch, that's probably 1/2 a serving! LOL _________________ Dingie Dinah

I have to say the Creamy Satisfying Breakfast is a 10. I have almost every Saturday Morning for the past several months...it "sticks to your ribs" usually don't have to eat again until supper.
Thanks for the recipe buddy.
