This is one of my favorite dishes and I am posting it just for you Rodie! It is really good and easy . Hope ya enjoy it and let me know what ya think. Others besides Rodie can try this too Ingredients
2 pounds fresh green beans (if using frozen watch for doneness)
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons sesame seeds
1 tablespoon Asian (toasted) sesame oil
Soy sauce
Directions
1- Rinse and drain beans, remove stems, strings and snap into desired length.
2- pour Olive oil onto beans and mix thoughroughly.
3- Bake in a 400º oven until beans are slightly browned and tender when pierced. (15 to 25 minutes but may vary if using frozen)
4- Stir the sesame seeds and sesame oil into the beans.
continue baking until seeds are golden, about 5 minutes longer.
5- Pour into a bowl, add soy sauce, toss and serve.
Take care and I use Fresh Pole Beans when available (Kentucky wonders), if not half runners do well too,
