Hi,

I was doing some reading on the topic of colonic cleanse and came across an interesting website, drnatura.com (warning: don't visit the website if you get grossed out easily!!). I was wondering if anyone here has tried to do colonic cleansing, drnatura or not, and if so, what were the results. I wouldn't expect to lose a bunch of weight (although I wouldn't mind it LOL) but if it would help my body function better, I'd be willing to try it.

thanks!

I think I'll keep doing it the old fashioned way as my toilet couldn't handle what I saw in the picture! Besides the old fashion way of cleanesing your colon even gives you a warning "buzz" at times! Sorry Mary but I had to josh ya a little bit. Be good and thanks for a shocking look at a colon matter exhibit,

David,

hi,
i've done the colonics. it is not bad. and after the procedure i felt better. your body puts out many toxins and this is one way to make sure that your colon is cleansed completely. it is interesting that you can have blockages and still have daily movements.

i would recomend doing it. you may not lose weight but your system would definately feel much better.
jo

I did this a while back...I think it was $50.00 a visit...for 45 min ...

I lost 8lbs of waste the first time but after the 3rd time I think it became kinda unhealthy for me....

it is amazing how much waste you can hold....

I thought I would post an update. I decided to follow a 9 day cleansing program (NOT the drnature!) (was afraid of those pictures lol) and OMG I am super excited at the results. When I can save up more money (LOL) I am planning to do it again. Basically there were 2 days of cleansing followed by 5 days of protein drinks for breakfast and lunch and a low carb dinner and then 2 more days of the cleanse. It definitely wasn't easy, but Wow, I haven't felt this good in years. Very Happy
