Hi everybody,

Yesterday was a good day I ate some soup for breakfast, pork chops and salad for lunch then I had some more soup for a snack, for dinner I just ate a ribeye and no veggies. I do need to increase my veggie consumption but the soup does have quite a bit of spinach in it. I know though I should eat a veggie with every meal. I plan on making some more soup today.

This morning I had soup for breakfast and then I had some brisket with George's no cook bourbon bbq sauce on it. I think I will probably have a salad for lunch. I went to the grocery store yesterday but I haven't cooked much of anything. I will probably make a side dish of cauliflower maybe just with some cheese sauce. And I think I'm going to try Anthony's Parmesan Pork chops this weekend.

Jen- I read your blog and I'm sorry to hear youv'e been so busy at work. Good for you though on sticking with this WOE. I can't wait to see the new you pics.

Have a great day everyone.

Hi Folks! Sorry so busy no time to post. Crying or Very sad

Things are going well. NO cheats. Sticking with low carb. I;ve gone back to eating more salads too. Trying to have several meals a week with a big entree salad: meat and lots of veggies.

Yesterday:
Brunch: eggs with mushrooms and onions, pork chop, strawberries
S - nuts, ice pop, wasa cracker with bit of cheese, diet drink
Dinner: Chicken, veggie, and spring lettuce salad with citrus vinagrette, LC ice cream with butter toasted nuts.

Thats the last of the ice cream and I'm not buying any more for quite a while. Too tempting!

Today:
B yogurt and nuts
L Chicken and veggie salad with citrus vinagrette
D Stir fry

D and I went for 2.5 mile walk at our local park yesterday afternoon. Hope to add a few more walks in every week. Smile

I have tons of energy today -and wow will I need it!

Hi all!

Still doing well. D and I did another 2.5 miles walk tonight.

Today:
B - egg with cheese, turkey sausage, green tea with spenda
L- beef short rib, green beans
S- nuts and diet beverage
D- pork bbq (that's eastern North Carolina style - pure chopped smoked pork, no sugary sauce), mixed veggie salad with citrus dressing, SF ice pop.

Vit - yes
Water - hummm, 32 oz? Not enough for sure - not drinking enough when working outside the office.

Hi everyone!

Its been another hectic week but I'm still hangin' in with the challenge. Its gotten easier for me the past week or so - probably distracted by other things and not thinking much about food.

Yesterday:
B- missed Embarassed
L - lettuce salad with grilled beef and ranch dressing. I did eat a bit of the onion ring on top, but tossed the rest of the pile
S - nuts and diet bev
D - Salmon baked with scampi butter (George's butter recipe), leftover citrus cream sauce, baked eggplant.

Today:
B - scrambled eggs with mushrooms and onions
L - beef and peppers with cooked cabbage (gotta love that cafeteria food)
S - diet beverage and nuts
D- smoked turkey leg and salad with blue cheese dressing

Vit: yes
Water: woefully little. had water with breakfast and lunch so maybe 32 oz as of 6 PM. This weekend: Going to look for a water bottle slim enough to carry in my computer bag.

No walk tonight. Walked around much of the day for work (unusual). too tired.

Hi folks - cannot tell you how many long posts I have written the past couple of days only to have them lost! I am now writing in Word and cutting and pasting to the thread - so frustrating.

Anyway. I cheated yesterday Crying or Very sad , Our town's annual street festival was Saturday and I HAD TO HAVE A CORN DOG. lol. Twisted Evil Sadly, I wasn't that good. Batter too sweet - but I'm so sensitive to sugar now tha a lot of things taste sweet to me. The thought of the corn dog was much better than the reality. Other than that decision, things went fine. D and I shared a giant smoked turkey leg from the local bbq place, I had some sweet potato fries (a bit carby but not too outrageous) and we wandered the streets looking at stuff to buy. I got some locally made soap and bath products, and a beautiful polymer clay pendant that you would swear was some sort of fantastical stone created in copper, blue, and fuscia colors.

Yesterday:

B Grapefruit and bacon
L half turkey leg, sweet potato fries, corn dog
D baked fish and zucchini, lc ginger flan.

Today:
Brunch: eggs, sausage, bacon
S - ginger flan
D - mahi mahi and salad, ice pop.

Hi folks! I'm still alive and well! working long hours, not posting much or even reading posts. Totally lost track of fitday.com postings. Its been easy to keep up with this WOE. Keeping things simple just eating protein and a side salad or veggie. Used the slow cooker this week and used leftovers from the freezer. Ate out two nights but stayed on plan!! ok, except for the martini. lol. seriously folks its been a tough week and hopefully I'll have time to blog about it later.

I'm so grateful for this WOE. I have enough energy to keep going day and night.

looking forward to catching up with this challenge at some point. Gave up on fitday tracking for now. Still working long hours, late nights. I've stayed on track except for a hot dog (w bun) and chips on Tuesday. Skipped breakfast becasue I was rushing around getting ready for our big rally day. When I finally stopped for lunch at 2 pm no will power to ressit the buns and chips! oh and the cookie. Embarassed
So - as I've said many a time before, plan ahead, don't skip meals.

How is everyone?!
