my fantasy kitchen would just be BIGGER. with brand new appliances. i have the cookware i want (hard anodized), the silverware i want (oneida), and the knives i want (cutco).

the only things lacking is maybe a set of silicone bakeware, and the jenn-air "oiled bronze" appliances.

but, since i live in an apartment, i'll settle for the mix and match ugly appliances that i have....

Fantasy kitchen, huh? Okay, but remember, you asked for it! Laughing

My fantasy kitchen would have a replicator like those in Star Trek: The Next Generation, so I could just decide what I want for dinner and voila! It would materialize before my eyes.

It would have an automatic laser-cleaning system that would vaporize any dirt, germs or food particles on the dishes and then put them away.

It would have extremely energy-efficient appliances that ran off no more energy than a nightlight bulb and would slide into the wall and out again on voice command.

It would have a certain gorgeous blond butler wearing only an apron, who would give new meaning to the term "service with a smile"! Laughing

Yeah, buddy!

PEACE AND LOVE, Lisa

Lisa,
I love your ideas for a kitchen. May I borrow them???

But...... call me weird, but I'm not interested in you buttler. Just one more person to get in my way. I'm too old to care, and and again call me weird, but never was interesed in a nude buttler or maid. I have just never been into nudity. Shocked Always been a bit of a prude I guess. Embarassed But to each his/her own. Now you all know!

But for the rest of that kitchen, I LOVE it!!! Now those slide in's have to have a lot of space to hold all my "stuff" I have on the counters. Laughing

I will be getting new Kraftmaid cabinets, Maple, solid raised in Praline color (with all the little bells and whistles)...hardwood floors in kitchen and dining area..New brushed stainless steel frig and stove..haven't made up my mind about a dishwasher yet....granite countertops with undermount sink..microwave with fan and light over the stove..Yeah buddy..I can't wait!!
