So here is the deal.
Everytime I start low carbbing, I once again start having my periods (after going long long periods of time without one). Not a big deal
The big deal is, every time now it is that time of the month I get completely exhausted...like can sleep 8 hours...be fine for a few...then be so tired I am forced to lay my head down for a few minutes. My b/f says he is worried about me because it makes me very absent minded and of course tired. He says its not normal for it to last as long as it has this time (of course my stress level was through the roof for a couple weeks so that may have attributed).
Anyone else experience this? _________________ ~ Denise

Sounds like you should see a doctor, get some blood work, and maybe have them check your uterus with a sonogram. You might need more iron in your diet for the fatigue. For the other, something serious might need to be resolved, like polyps. Please go for a physical with you GYN! Take care of yourself! Your important! HUGS |

The no cycle thing is due to PCOS...long diagnosed ... and quick weight gain threw me all off...hormones are all screwy some day I will work on it...if I had decent insurance. Right now my health insurance might as well be null.
I think my eyes are messed up...leading to dizziness and adding to the fatigue from fighting teh dizzy...I am goikng tomorrow and setup an eye appt - time for new contacts anyway _________________ ~ Denise

| I have PCOS too and I experience the same thing. I remember asking my dr about it and he said when you are on your cycle, your body simulates pregnancy...which is why we have cravings and back aches....and feeling tired is normal. Even though my feeling tired is so bad I feel like I'm going to pass out. I personally don't worry about it too much....I just try to rest up the first few days as much as I can. Luckily I'm taking a birth control that only allows me to have cycle 4 times a year. |

Now that sounds like a birth control I need :p I have avoided them because last time I was on them they made me so irritable but that was 14 years ago...guess they have probably come a long way since then...
OK shoot me...just realized it has been almost 15 years since I graduated high school....where does the time go???? _________________ ~ Denise

| I know I was really reluctant to take it. I took some after the birth of my son 2 yrs ago and again...it made me like a crazy woman. This birthcontrol doesn't do that....it did however give me pregnancy symptoms for a month. So much to the fact that...even though I was on birth control....I toow 2 pregnancy tests....LOL. I ended up taking it b/c I was having episodes with my endometrosis so bad I couldn't dress myself or even walk ot get to the emergency room....and they were every 4 months and would last 3 days. I thought they were cysts....but the DR says my endometrosis. No matter, since being on this birth control (over a year) I have had NO episodes! How great! |
