I just finished 3 miles. Didn't have time to do the 4th because I've got the kiln firing & need to keep an eye on it.

Keep on walking girlfriend!!!!!!!! If there's anyone else that would like to join us, please do. It doesn't matter what type of walking you do........dvd's, treatmill, outside..........whatever you choose. It's your workout!!

Congrats on the 4 miles!!!! You go girl!!!!!!!!!!!Smile Smile I did 3 miles again today. I'd like to do 4, but until I get all the kiln firings done, I probably won't. The 3 miles are good ones, so I'm happy.

Three miles here today. It was a beautiful day so I took the poochie poo out for a hike. We're almost to the end of our challenge!
Great job on your three miles this morning!
What do you do with your kiln? I mean, what kind of ceramics/pottery do you do?

Don't give up, Angie!! Muscle weighs more than fat. Use your clothes as a guide. And yes, your TOM will definitely make a difference. I'm not at home today, so I will probably walk on a treadmill at my dd's house, or use her xl glider. Not sure which. Hopefully, I'll be able to do the dvd tomorrow.

I use my kiln for fused glass. It is a lot of fun. My hubby does scrollsaw work, & we have some shows coming up soon.

Happy Monday Morning!! My Monday morning weigh in shows a loss of .8 lb. Not much, but hey, a loss is a loss & I'll take whatever I can get!!

Way to go Angie!! I'm ready for the new challenge too. Ok. Let's begin our next 10 day challenge. Walking as many or as few miles each day as we can. I'm also going to add keeping a food diary. I find that I am more accountable if I do. I don't weigh & measure my food. I just write down everything I eat. I also include how much water I drink, and how much walking I do.

Hello!! It's me again!!!!!!!!!!!

I just finished my morning walk. I did 3 miles. Leslie says in her Walk Slim series that if you do the 3 or 4 mile walk each day you will be walking off a meal a day. Sounds good to me. I have to say this is one of her best walks yet. She has another new one coming out soon......Walk away your waistline. I might consider getting that one too.

Congratulations on your loss! It may not seem like much but added to the two pounds you lost last week...it's great! Better than a TWO POUND GAIN!! Sheesh...

I have been trying to keep a food journal myself. Unfortunately I don't keep up with it as well as I should. But I've been really good and haven't "cheated" since I started a month ago.

I did three miles with Leslie today with the upper body weights. I'm going to order the Walk Slim series based on your glowing review. I've read other great things about it too. And I would like to have more workouts to choose from every day.

I'll check in tomorrow. Have a great Monday!

Part of the Walk Slim System is at Walmart too. You wouldn't have to pay shipping. The ones at Walmart are Walk Slim 3 Fast Miles (It also includes a 1 & 2 mile walk) and Walk Slim 4 Fast Miles. The 3 mile one is all fast walking. The 4 mile one includes 5 segments of jogging for about 2 minutes. The jogging is optional. You can just walk through those segments. Each of those are $14.95. My new favorite is the other one from her site that's called Walk Slim Fast & Firm 4 Really BIG Miles. It's $19.95 + s/h if you aren't a member.

When I first ordered her system, I called & they told me that since I was ordering the whole set (3 & 4 miles plus the firming dvd) they would give me a year of membership free. With the membership you get a discount on everything you order as long as you remain a member. I don't know if they're still doing that or not. But if you're planning to order more than one dvd, it might be worth a call.

And you know I was thinking about your 2 lb gain.........when I first started walking with this system, I gained the first week too. Then I just stayed put for a couple of weeks. So please don't get discouraged. It will come. I tweaked my eating a bit & kept on walking. You do the same!!!!!!You'll be fine.
