Mark, I had your hot dog dish today for lunch, and thought of you.

Grilled Hot Dogs on the George Forman
1 can Walmart Hot Dog Chili
Diced Onion
Shredded Chedder Cheese

Yummo!!!!!!

Glad you enjoyed it. I think it is much better when you grill the dogs too. Next time try a little sour cream on them...takes it right over the top...if ya ask me.

I have found Wal*Mart brand canned Chili, but I have never found one at my Wal*Mart that says Hot Dog Chili.
I bought a can of the chili, but haven't used it yet.

Does the one you get actually say "hot dog chili"?

Dinah! You forgot the slaw and the mustard girl! No dog is a good dog without the slaw and the mustard! Yummy Mark I eat these too,

Yeah, Billie, mine says Hot Dog Chili, in a small, maybe 10 ounce can.

And Davie, you are right, it needed slaw and mustard! But I didn't have any, so I was slawless..... Sad

These are my all time very favorite too and when I have them with the works, even putting george's cloeslaw on them, I always thank Mark for sharing this. It is so easy and filling. They are a perfect thing to make for us handicappers as the dish is not only easy to make but also light to carry and take out of the microwave.

I don't think I've seen "hot dog chili" in years.
I have looked for it several times at my Wal*Mart, and have never found it.
Maybe someday, but till then I'll have to continue to buy just chili. Either Wal*Mart brand or Hormel no-bean, or Wolf no-bean brand (usually only can get this when I go down to OK/AR to visit).
More carbs than I'd like, but I don't eat it often.

That is truly sweet of you Mark!!!! But that's OK. I'll keep lookin. Maybe they'll get them in someday.
Besides, I have several cans of the Hormel, Wolf Brand & Wal*Mart no beans chilli on hand. I'll use them. They haven't seemed to hurt me in moderation.

No need to mail cans of chilli! But I really do appreciate it.

Here they call it Hot Dog Sauce Cool

I had never heard of it until I moved to Kentucky...we always just called it chili but it tends to be a little thinner and the meat a little finer...works great for hot dogs.

I'm betting that I will like it. Enough so that I bought 4 cans. Wow that price was great too!! 38cents! A can the same size of the chili would be over a $.
