Jason,
I began just doing cardio, just using a treadmill, elliptical, or the bike. I laid off doing any kind of resistance training...
When I got up this morning, and weighed (I usually weigh twice a week), I was down the 4 lbs I gained previously and then down AN ADDITIONAL 3 LBS.

Kim,
No problem. I went through the same thing, so it worked for me. I just do 1 day of weights, very light, and only on selected areas. So gradually add it in, my goal is to lose as much as I can, then start to tone my muscles. I am glad it is working for you!!! If you need anything else, let me know, always glad to help!

30 minutes of intervals 3 mins @ 5.7 and 2 minutes @ 6.6 for the entire 30 minutes.
Calories burned: 658
Total Distance: 3.34 Miles
2 sets of 20 of Hanging Roman Chair for lower abs!!
Good work out! 4 days this week!

| This week I set the treadmill at 4% incline, did 5 minutes of warm up, 2.5 to 3.5 mph, then went at 4.0 mph till I went 2 miles. My goal is to cover the 2 miles in under 30 minutes. I then do at least 5 minutes of cool down. Tonight I raised the speed for a few minutes to 4.1 and 4.2, 2 miles in 30 minutes, 17 seconds. Almost running. I skipped Thursday because my lady friend enrolled us in ball room dance lessons. I burned allot of calories laughing at my self! No Fred Astaire here! Ed |

This week I continued with 4% incline, 35 min treadmill routine. I warm up for 5 minutes going from 3 mph. to 4mph, then 25 minutes at 4.2, then 5 minutes of cool down. I pass the 2 mile mark at 29 minutes, 10 seconds on Friday. Total of 400 calories burned. Getting closer to a jog! Ed  |

I'm BACK!!!
Good news!! Weight is still off! I'm at 248/9. Bad news = I haven't worked out consectivly in 2 months because of coaching and classes. BUT GUESS WHAT????
I'm BACK!!
Today
Total time on treadmill: 35 mins
27 minutes of running, 8 minutes of walking
Total distance: 3.12 miles
Total calories burned: 612
Then sit ups like crazy!!
I'm going tomorrow after class as well!
It feels great to be back!!
