I'll admit it, I'm basically lazy. I've been at maintenance for awhile but have always looked for little things that I can do to move my body without noticing that I'm really working. The one thing that I have done is to watch skinny people. Watch them eat. It's kinda slow. They talk more during meals, put the fork down, chew their food longer and actually leave food on the plate. OK, not all of them but just observe sometimes. A few things I've learned are to park further away from the stores where I shop. It may not seem like much to some folks, but for me, well, I shop a lot. The extra steps count as excercise in my world. I know, it's a lazy way to do it but I am a size 12 and I want to stay that way. BTW, I heard a couple weeks ago that "fidgeting" causes weight loss too but I'm not nervous enough to fidget. Maybe I can learn Razz

Gal I work with is thin. I have been watching her and there are two things she always does: 1) She only eats exactly what she wants. 2) She fixes her food and always leaves something on her plate.

For me, I am working on not eating late in the evening, and stopping when I am full instead of finishing it just because it's there or because it tastes good. Hard for me to do, but worthwhile.

To revive the "lazy folks" post: guess what...I finally moved my treadmill into the middle of the livingroom so I wouldn't be able to ignore it anymore. But, after moving that biggo heavy thing (and the clothes hung all over it) and moving the ironing board (and junk stacked on top of it) to get the treadmill down the hallway, I'm too pooped to use it today. Maybe I'll think about that tomorrow...twiddle-dee-dee...
