HI Guys!

The things that have really made a difference for me and have allowed me to stick with this WOE are:

Oopsies (Cleochatra)
Rachel's Cheesecake
Tam's Veggie soup, Broccoli-Cheese soup & Cauliflower Soup (great during the winter months... and very easy)
David's Deviled Eggs
Riced Cauliflower (I love this stuff!)
Green Bean Almondine
My easy Salad Dressing!!! (Mayo, Tony Chacere's, Old Bay, Celery seeds & Heavy Cream) ZERO carbs and oh so tasty!

For my chocolate fixes, I bought some of the milk chocolate Chocoperfection bars. They are great, but I'm not sure I'll order them again. For the 12 bars, they were like $45 bucks to have them shipped in a container with cold packs so they wouldn't melt. I like George's Almond Bark a lot and it's much cheaper to make that than to buy the Chocoperfection bars.

That's about it... I used to have the cheesy Cauliflower stuff (Faux Mac & Cheese) every other night, but I've been trying to cut back on cheeses - except for the cheesecake, so I don't have it very often anymore.

Looks like I need to try that Taco soup!

Take care!

Sam

Sam, the taco soup is excellent! I have some chocoperfection bars too. I haven't even opened them. Since I discovered chocolate bark I don't need them! However, I figure they might be good for chocolate chips/chunks.

Linda Sue's website is great! Tons of great recipes on there! I'm glad you found it.

Angie

Angie,

Linda's site really is great! I delved a little further on her website and saw recipes especially for induction which as you know, is a critical time for any newby! I am still in induction and looking for ways to really add variety to this new WOL. This has probably been posted before by others, but is it SO new to me and I hope someone else!

Here is the link. I checked out the entire site and it is good! Smile

Wow... that Jalapeños Chicken recipe looked really good! I might have to try that one pretty soon!

I never new that Linda had recipes just for induction! Thanks for sharing, Littlelady!

I love Linda's site. We are getting ready to do induction just to get us back on track and I used her site to plan the first week. I love George's books and can't wait until induction is over so I can go back. I just don't like to think to much so Linda's site is great with everything marked that is suitable for induction Smile

Well that and of course the Stella Family and their wonderful recipe sharing Smile

Hi Denise!

It is great that we have so many resources now for low carb recipes! Can you imagine having to be on this diet back in the 70's??? With the Stella recipes and the recipes from folks on here, I have a new outlook on life and the low carb WOE!

Good luck on your induction! You can do this! Smile

Thank you so much, Donna! Is there a way to tag a thread for yourself so that you don't "lose" it?

Could this post be made into a sticky so newbies will see it right away when they join? Then, us newbies can add to it as we find our own "couldn't live without" recipes. Smile This is such a helpful thread.

Emma, I don't know the answer to your questions. I am not a monitor and it seems they have the power to do or know the things you asked. Maybe one of them will see and answer. I think Angie could have made it a sticky when she created it but I don't know if it can be changed. Donna

This thread is now a sticky! Thanks for the idea.... thought I'd put in my 2 cents worth too...

George's Family Style Chicken is to die for.
Easy Cheesy Chili Chicken makes a presentation that is beautiful! Very impressive for company.
Waldorf Slaw is addictive
Cheesecake of course
Lemon Meringue Pie
Renees roaxsted cinaman candied nuts
pepperoni chips
Sweet Mustard Sauce
Scampi Butter is a fixture at my house
Cranberry Relish is required with Turkey
Meat Lasagna makes for great leftovers
Anthonys Pork Chop Parmesan
Roasted Rosemary Pork Loin
Anaheim Shrimp Scampi is too easy!
Cucumber & Tomato Salad
Garlic Mock Mashed Taters
Onion Rings
Coconut Macaroons
Christians Banana Bread Muffins
Rice Pilaf
General Tso's Chicken
Mac and Cheese Casserole
Anthony's Berry Good Smoothies
Pumpkin Pound Cake

From the Site:
Hot Chicken Salad
Taco Soup
Cream of Anything Soup
Dinah's Chili (I know I shouldn't brag on my own recipes, but this is GOOD)
Davie's Sketti Sauce
Foxye's Choco/peanut butter cookies
Chicken and Sausage Casserole

I'm sure there is more, but I can't think of anything else....

Hope this helps

I'm doing great. Getting ready to leave on a trip and concerned about how I am going to handle my food choices. Limited control on the road. We'll see. Donna
