My youngest has been begging me to make banana bread. When we went to Starbucks Saturday night, he had a slice of their "sugar free" version (although I'm sure it had flour in it) and I had a smidgen. It was SOOOOO good! I told him I'd make him Christians banana muffins, but he wants to make a loaf like he and I used to do.

Do you think Christians recipe would work in a loaf pan?

And it's funny, Tyler is allergic to bananas but LOVES banana bread. weird, huh?

I bet it would work too. Maybe double the recipe and bake longer? Good idea, BTW!! Yes, please let us know how it turns out. Those muffins are SO good!

I would think it should work. Probably time it like you did when you made the loaf before. (I've never made the muffins so don't really know how much batter if is. Angie may be right about needing to make a double batch.)

I'm a little late (as usual), but this definitely works. Stacy made this for me a couple of months ago. She just used the Banana Macadamia Nut muffin recipe and put it in a loaf pan.

I highly reccommend this with a ton of cream cheese on it. Yum Yum!
