Breakfast: slept in late {I'll make up for this later in the day}
Lunch: provolone cheese with roast beef, rolled up and then placed in pan and browned on both sides, these were so yummy, had 3 of them {while cooking these I kept tilting the pan and allowed the grease from the cheese to fall down so could take out of pan. I don't like real greasy foods}
few grape tomatoes
water
Snack: 1 egg + 3 egg whites, canola oil and slice of pepper cheese, glass diet soda and decaf coffee and soy milk, splenda
Dinner: spicy baked chicken wings {didn't eat the skin} broccoli, cheese, garlic, on the side fried red onions with sour cream {I ate with the broccoli} water {I really wanted wine like everyone else, but I was good}
Snack: Ok, accountability right ? Low fat vanilla bean ice cream with few cherries and chocolate syrup Darn !!! I do so well all day and then I caved in. We had company I made a dinner everyone wanted, I didn't eat the perogies sp? which was a big deal for me, but I know now that am allergic to wheat gluten, plus low carbing YIKES !!! Ice cream isn't gluten, is that what I thought ? Heck don't know what was thinking.
I think I got caught up in the evening and wasn't thinking and the worst of it is I feel sick from the sugar, dizzy and kind of just yucky?
My next posting will be much better I'm just glad that I was honest _________________ The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams. {Eleanor Roosevelt 1884-1962} |

Not feeling well today, slept or rested mostly due to migraines and for some reason my blood pressure has been pretty high for couple days
I have been eating alot more salt with all the cheeses and lunch meats: roast beef and sandwich pepperoni I put them in salad with olive oil and hard boiled eggs so not sure actually what's going on
My oldest son has me stressed as well and that is something I need to brush off and not let him get to me.
So, today did not post because just picked and then when sat down at computer I had something I shouldn't have: that darn ice cream again and about oh I lost count how many, but many cherries from the jar that are 2 carbs a piece
I will be good and post again tomorrow and try very hard to exercise more I'm sure that will help
Sorry, I'm just having a small set back and tomorrow is another day
I think will make hard boiled eggs in the morning and stay away from salty things for a little bit and that should help Tuna should be ok as well, I'll drain really well and rinse it too. And will drink plenty of water.
If you came in here looking around today, sorry for disappointing, check back tomorrow and I'll show you a good day of very tasty low sodium foods. _________________ The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams. {Eleanor Roosevelt 1884-1962} |

Just hang in there Liz. Tomorrow is ALWAYS another day! Is it possible for you to get all that crap out of the house and to make some yummy low carb treats for these emergencies? _________________ Angie

I make ricotta creme and that helps me with the "ice cream" craving. It's not frozen but still works for me.
Hang in there! Like Angie said, you need to get that stuff out of the house.

Hello Angie and Tammy,
Thank you both for stopping by to remind me of things that need to be done. You know there are cookies and cheese crackers and candy etc in the house but put in a room where I know they are and even if they are in the kitchen as well I will not touch those, but put ice cream anywhere near me and I completely get some, it's like it calls my name and the only way to stop is to eat some poor excuse I know but it's what I do. I'll work on that. And the kind we can make legally the fatty taste sticks to the roof of my mouth and don't like coating leaves on the tongue.
I want to be a success story like so many of you here and only I can do it, so today I am starting to post again because yesterday was just a mess as the day before and I'm in the right mind set to start anew.
Thanks for listening,

Yesterday I posted wrong day on message sorry if any confusion
Breakfast: Woke up too late Did have large glass of water
Lunch: whole box of frozen spinach cooked/sour cream
2 hard boiled eggs and I actually ate almost an entire yolk odd for me
Snack: shortly after lunch I was still hungry ? 3 thin slices of provolone cheese heated in pan on a slant to drain off most of the fat and ate it crispy so good. About an our later went back and made 2 more cheese crisps only used 2 thin slices each this time to visually make it look like much more
water
Dinner: strawberry sherbet/sorbet not really sure which consistency would best describe: strawberries, unsweetened soy milk, splenda this was very good.
Snack: I was really stressed out and was planning on one hard boiled egg, but I grabbed 2 w/mayo and red onion {this actually helped me relax a little, ok if it's fat that's helping maybe I just need to grab a spoon and the hellman's jar}
Stressed again, it's 12:22am, can't sleep, so off to get a snack I didn't cheat, though wanted to guess what I did, took 2 more hard boiled eggs, mayo and red onion and ate the entire eggs. So this makes 4 whole eggs for me including the yolks. I don't usually eat more than 1 to 2 yolks a week !
If you know me, you know I'm freaking a little because all of the cholesterol. But it's late I'm calm again and now going to drink another big glass of water and go to bed real soon.
I have to laugh because normally I would just eat a big bowl of cereal thinking that would be so much healthier. The only thing is after the bowl of cereal sometimes I would want more and at times I would eat more but with the protein/fat just satisfied with less bulk

I think you did great Liz! Do not sweat the eggs!
Funny because I work with a gal that eats only egg whites too. She says, "all that cholesterol, no thank you." Then proceeds to go outside for a smoke 4 or 5 times a night. A real health nut, LOL! _________________ Angie

Breakfast: Smoothie/Chocolate soy protein, crushed ice and unsweetened soy milk.
Lunch: small amount canola oil, 6 eggs w/only 1 yolk. strips of green pepper and red onion, covered with lid so veggies steamed on top of eggs on low temp, then layered top with provolone and dipped pieces into mixture of hellman's mayo and grey poupon mixed as a little dipping sauce, this was actually very good
Dinner: 2 crispy provolone slices, 4 slices roast beef, mayo, onion and diet rite soda Made a sandwich was good, would have been better with little lettuce and tomato
Snack: sorbet/frozen wild blueberries, unsweetened soy milk and splenda
I also drink several glasses of water throughout the day
*** Woo Hoo, Day 1 back on program and I'm not craving anything and I haven't been dizzy much today like I have been, just a little early this morning and then when started eating all this good protein feeling better _________________ The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams. {Eleanor Roosevelt 1884-1962} |
