| my sister told me that on thrusday she cooked a 25 lbs turkey- after they weere done she took the rest of the turkey and picked it off and put it in zippy bags for freezer storage to have to put in soups and stocks and in casseroles. i thought that was a great idea. that is what i need to do for pre preporation. sue |

I buy turkey when it is on sale at holiday time and can it. The reason I can it, is that I like it better that way, and I do not have a freezer. Saves us much $.

I bought a turkey breast last night at the grocery. Stacy mentioned it last week...I don't know why it seems the only time we have it is during the holidays. It is so good, and really cheap, when on sale and compared to other meats.

Alot of times thats what I buy and slice for sandwiches instead of trying my luck at the deli counter! And like Mark says, it is economical!

| that's all the Dh wants these days. we even eat the ground turkey by honeysuckle white in the rolls. It's great and $1.50 for a pound. Makes a real good chili. The Turkey tenderloins are traly 2 breasts lin a pack to resemble a pork loin...very good too |
