I saw a blog the other day for tie dye cupcakes. I haven't had much luck with cakes lately, so I thought cheesecake. I wanted bright colors, so I chose a no bake cheesecake from Linda Sue's webpage.

http://www.genaw.com/lowcarb/its_a_snap_cheesecake.html

I separated the cheesecake mixture into small bowls and added food coloring--about ten drops each. Then I just plopped the bright colors around like a tie dye pattern.

Then today, I used some Easter bunny cookie cutters to make the cutest desserts. These are best made with the cheesecake in a larger dish so they won't be too thick. They are really adorable and yummy too. Not super rich like a baked cheesecake, but light and sweet.

Lisa, what a creative and wonderful idea! I think they look amazing! I may have to try that this Sunday for dinner! It sure adds some interest and color doesn't it? Wow now each time I give this a try on special occasions, I will think of you. Thanks for the great idea as we just got some neon food coloring yesterday! Let's se, green for St Patricks, Pink for valentine's day, red white and blue for the 4th of July, red and green at Christmas, orange and black at Halloween, man all those cookie cutters I had can now be used, Oh My Goodness, thanks again Lisa for a "cool man" tie dyed idea,
David
