actually my boys are doing pretty well in the kitchen! rossy had 4 years away from home and has become a "grill master". And Tyler is'nt scared of anything but doing dishes! LOL just kidding....

I'm just lazy. I want the good foods, I'm just too lazy to cook it! Actually tonight I had a chicken/cheese quesadilla (SP?) on Flat Out bread. No one else was home and it was quick and easy, but what I REALLY wanted was YOU PIZZA!!!!! I gotta try that crust soon. it looks SO good! Fresh and beautiful!!!

Dinah, I think you'll really like that pizza crust. Put whatever toppings that you like on yours.
Try it you'll like it.

I was gonna post this pizza crust, and Angie beat me to it. Laughing

I made it the other day and added a little oat fiber to the crust to up the fiber some. I don't even remember now how much I added. If I do that again tho, I won't add more than 1/8 cup. One guy on another site adds coconut flour. He actually used a little different recipe tho if I remember correctly. It was from the same gal who came up with this one, but was for a chewier crust if I remember correctly. He added the coconut flour to help dry it out some. I have some coconut flour, so I may try just a little of that sometime. But I won't want to add much. The crust is great as is. I had enough for some reason the other day, to spread some of it on another pan, and after the pizza was done (I was using my new toaster oven), I baked it. Had chips.

Billie, you just LOVE that toaster oven don't you? LOL. I had one once too and I loved it. I can't remember the brand but it was a larger sized one and I ended up using it 99% of the time over the regular oven. I got it at Costco and every time I'm in there I look for another but alas. It was great. I remember it fondly...

Yep, Angie I sure am enjoying it. Will really enjoy it as summer gets hotter. I put off buying one for so long. Didn't want to spend the money, and really no space in my kitchen. But when I found this one on sale that day, I just couldn't resist. I really didn't have room for it, but I've got it in my dining room (no place for it in the kitchen!) anyway.

I remember reading so many recipes where people used their toaster oven, and I'd say, I don't have one. Sometimes it just wasn't practical to use the big oven.

Now if only it were large enough to bake my oopsies (I've become a fan), so I wouldn't heat up the house this summer!

finally got around to trying this today. it's in the oven and smells heavenly!!!!!! i cant wait to bite into it! fresh basil from my plant on it too!

ooh, that looks good!! I'm going to make that tomorrow. I've made pizzas using a thin slice of ham lunch meat, but lately I've been making 'pizza casserole.' I just brown a little hamburger and onion, drain it then throw in a little tomato sauce, salt, splenda, garlic, basil, oregano, green olives, jalapenos, and lots of pepperoni. Cook and season to taste, then put in a pyrex dish, cover with mozzarella & bake. My teenage son likes it, too--not really sure if that's a good thing or not.....

I made this the other day and baked it inside a 9-inch silicone cake pan. It came out perfectly round and so easy to pop out and turn over and bake the other side. If you have silicone cake pans, try it!

I made this tonight for dinner and its was a huge hit! It was delish! Everyone loved it. My sister inlaw didn't even know it wasn't regular crust and ate most of the second pizza I made. There are 5 of us in the house and only 2 watching what we eat. No one was the wiser tonight. They kept saying I thought you couldn't have this! Your having more? lol. It will now be a staple in our house! Very Happy

Thank you so much for this recipe! We even made an extra crust and cut it into "bread" pieces. We decided to try it with sandwiches!

Well finally I made this tonight,it was AWESOME!!!!!Did hamburger,pepperoni,gr peppers,mushrooms,and a few gr olives.It's my new favorite,but I couldn't eat more then a couple of pieces,guess thats a GOOD THING!!!! Wink

made pizza casserole tonight----14yo son loved it!

1 pound ground sirloin or chuck
2 medium onions
1 can diced tomatoes
low carb pizza sauce, or make your own
8 oz 'pillow pack' hormel pepperoni
sliced green olives, jalapenos, mushrooms, peppers, etc--
mozzarella

Brown beef and sautee onion in skillet. Add tomatoes and sauce (just enough sauce to make it look like you're making sloppy joes) and simmer 5 mins. Add pepperoni (stack and cut into fourths) and other 'toppings.' Pour into casserole dish and cover with mozzarella. Bake at 350 till cheese browned.

That sounds wonderful, I have been on the hunt for a good pizza recipe and this sounds perfect as it doesn't contain (Ikky) parmesan which 99% of the others do, or need a low carb tortilla which I cant get, or contain protein powder ( and I say I am not fussy Embarassed ) thanks for the bump up bilie, next time I go to the store I might get some stuff t make this, oh my yummy pizza LOL it is the main thing I miss on low carb that so far I havent been able to make a substitute for.

Wanted to bump this. I made this pizza Monday night. Just had leftovers for lunch. It is very good. Al little bit of work. I lean more towards the deep dish just because it is easier, but both are great.
