I know your not supposed to drink alcohol when your trying to loose weight but sometimes its nice to have a drink with dinner. I thought I had heard that Vodka was low on the carb list but when I do have a drink I tend to gain sometimes 5 lbs back and it takes a couple weeks to take the weight off again...............does anyone know why this happens.........I'm sticking to my eating plan religiously............
Remember that even though most liquors are low or carb free, the body will always burn the alcohol before anything else. Also are you having a diet mixer or are there hidden juices or sugars in your drink? I am not a big drnker myself but have on occasions had mixed drinks but always with a diet soda and I haven't encountered any problems to date. Every person's body is different but as far as vodka, there are zero carbs in a shot when I looked it up on "diet facts". Good luck,
