what i've learned about sketti squish!!!

i've already cooked 5, and i have six left (gave away 3) have another batch coming tomorrow i think....

six more to go!


decided to microwave so i don't heat up the kitchen. worked perfect in about 20 minutes on high.

each squash is a perfect 3 cup container! i have 3 of these in the freezer already, and 2 ready to go!

notice that one ss is green? it has a white meat in it, instead of the usual yellowish. it's really good! a bit sweeter, I think. I think Gurneys mixed the seeds cause there are some white ones and some that look like watermellon!

I'm excited! I decided to go ahead and cut them and have learned to cut from the blossom side to the stem cause the blossom side seems more tender. it ain't easy, and you have to be careful and use a sharp knife. i might even try digging out my electric knife and see how that works.

Twenty minutes in the microwave, and pop it in a Gladware 3 cup container! couldn't be more simple. I just have to make more room in my freezer.

Wish I could share these with you guys!
