I have spaghetti squash growing in my garden. They should be ready soon. FALL is here!!! (a cool 54° or so here today - right now, and windy!) I also have cabbage in the garden this year. Our first time to try growing that. Have on ready or about ready to harvest. Need to check on it today. Picked broccoli last week, and hopefully will have another crop of that. Cauliflower didn't do to well this year I don't think, but will see later.
We usually have a good beet crop, but it doesn't seem like it is doing to great this year. We'll have some, and will can later, but won't have as much as we had hoped for. Nothing did as well this year as it sometimes does. _________________ Billie

I've never grown spaghetti squash, but next year I will. I never even tried it till this year. I was given a patty pan squash and had no clue how to cook it. So I peeled it, sliced it, and sauteed it in olive oil and added some roasted red peppers at the end just to heat them through. Loved it. Reminded us of fried potatoes. Hope someone gives me more...soon. LOL
Do you have any helpful tips on growing spaghetti squash Billie?

Billie, I was just looking thru the gardening forum and found quite a lot of info there from you and Dinah. I don't want to make you type up a bunch of stuff that's already here. But, if you can think of anything I'll need to know, I appreciate it.

Beth, I'm glad you found the other info. I think about all I know is what I've put in here in the other posts. But if I do think of anything else I will post.
Some years we have a bumper crop, some very few make, Think we probably planted more this year than anytime before, but don't think I have as many as the first time we grew them. They will keep in a cool dry place for a long time. Wish I had a root cellar to keep such things in. _________________ Billie
