Good Morning! I didn't post for yesterday, so here goes for then & today. From the results of yesterday, It's pretty clear to me that I need to post first thing of a morning to stay accountable. Anyway, here goes the truth, the whole truth, & nothing but the truth.
Day 9--Breakfast--
2 scrambled eggs w dash of cream & sprinkle of cheese-cooked in butter
3 strips of bacon
water
Lunch-
Here's where I made an impulsive decision-----
Had a Noon time Board Meeting at work. We had chicken salad (I think it was pretty OK. It was very, very good. Not sweet so I think it was made w real mayo. Don't know this for sure, though. Didn't eat any bread, didn't eat any fruit from the fruit platter. Fruit dip looked great. But------I didn choose to eat about 6 potato chips. I opened the bag to serve them & they cried out to me. I didn't eat them immediately, but I had probably decided then to eat them. I did only eat a very small amount (in the past I'd have eaten the whole bag), but it was still an impulse thing. Was it worth it? Honestly, yes. It wasn't worth it for my health or WOL, but I did it & it could have been a whole bunch worse. Moral of the story is, plan ahead!!! The praise in all of this is I didn't let it ruin the rest of my day, week, month, etc. like in the past. Before, this would have set off a major binge if you know what I mean.
Snack-
Cheese, probably more than I should have had--but don't know how much
Dinner-
2 Grillers
about 1C sauerkraut
Didn't have enough veggies yesterday. Yesterday is done, thankfully. Here goes for day #10--
Breakfast-
Not sure yet, but it will be induction friendly--probably 2 eggs
Lunch-
Leftover hamburger
2 C lettuce
LC dressing
Dinner-
Skillet Chicken Florentine from Dana Carpender's book--1 serving is 2 carbs. It has chicken, spinach, cream, Parmesan cheese.
Will do Gazelle today & take all my supplements. Everybody have a GREAT day! I know I will have a great induction day today!!! _________________

Your right we need to plan. That is something I do every night and stick to it. It is hard when you work. I am lucky we own our business and I only have to be there to do books and run parts. So I am very very lucky. I don't think you did so bad, at least you didn't eat the whole bag and you then kept it on track after. You will do fine. Just don't do it again lol. Double Hugggss to you and have a great day at work!!!!!!! _________________ http://tickers.TickerFactory.com/ezt/d/3;10728;133;0;0/c/-40/t/-175/k/db47/weight.png |
