Hello. I had an unexpected surprise this morning when I got weighed at my doctors. I have lost 6 lbs in a week and 2 days. I am very happy about that. My blood pressure and pulse were down a little too. My blood sugars are being stubborn, but I am on the right track.
It is a nice sunny day here today. We do need rain badly though. vegtables in my neglected garden, continue to grow. We have not been able to tend to it too much this summer due to both of us having illness. We will be doing a lot of fall clean-up getting it ready for a winter's sleep. Luckily we have raspberries, blackberries, concord and green grape and blueberry bushes. And, apricot, apple, sour and sweet cherry and pear trees that nature tends to and gives us great fruit. The morning glories kind of took over a lot but it is so pretty looking out in the mornings and cloudy day and seeing the blooms all over.
For supper tonight we will be having a side salad, Sausage, sauerkraut and fresh green beans with bacon bits. I do feel like I am feeling and staying full. This morning I made a pan of SF jello and boiled some eggs for those hungry times which are becoming less now.
Grats:
Continue on this journey.
Still need to up my water intake.
I need to always remember portion control.
Blessings, Marylyn _________________

I'm late posting again .. busy day. I cooked all day. Roast beef and pork and chicken breasts in the freezer. Beef stew (with soaked potatoes for Sonny & without potatoes for me). Tomorrow I'm doing veggies - cole slaw, lettuce salad, asparagus, celery & cucumbers cut up and romaine leaves in bags with paper towels in them to keep them fresh. Then I wont have to cook for a long time .......... cooking is so difficult for me now, that I don't enjoy it, so any way that I can 'cook ahead' helps.
Very proud of you for the loss, Marylyn!!
Time to get some sleep ..........
Grats:
Electric skillet
Crock pot
The dog next door isn't barking tonight.........
G'nite all - till tomorrow _________________ You Can Make a Difference
