Some body help me please, i can't intall my profile

to the site, and our Stella Style family Pilotterss!!!

Be sure to check out the recipe section. Wonderin about something, check out the search.
It's under Forum on the bar above. Also check out the help from the toolbar, and there is a Help forum also. You'll find a lot of answers there. Because of spam & bad posts being able attack this section, it has been closed to new posts, but it is still there to browse, glean answers from. (No spam there now.) Most problems have been addressed there. There is a sticky of FAQs in the General forum. It has links to lots of as the name says Most Frequently Asked Questions about Stella Style WOL!!!. For that matter be sure to check out all the stickies when you have a question. Good chance it may have been answered in the FAQ's or other stickies.

Now to try to help you with your profile. Some people are experiencing problems with loggin, which then affects being able to set up profiles. (For some reason not every one experiences these problems. It seems to be either something to do with the browsers, or possibly our individual servers -not the SS server). We really don't know what causes it.
There are actually 2 different settings you will need to set up. Under normal circumstances you should not have to log out of one part of the site to work in the other (there are 2 sections the main which is where the Home page is, and the forums - here where we post). But sounds like you may be like some of us who has to be sure we are logged out of the home page to work here on the forums, and set up the profile here.
So to start with try going to the Home page (click on Home in the toolbar), and log in. This will take you to your control panel. On the left you will see a box that says Control Panel. Underneath that (in the box) Click on Edit my Profile. Now you SHOULD be able to put in your information. (I will say I had problems myself awhile back trying to edit mine, but it finally "took" even tho it still said it hadn't).
Now, Log out (again you shouldn't have to, but some of us do have to do that). After you have logged out, Go to the Forum Index page, and do the Forum Only Login. Then Click on Edit Settings/Signature, and fill that out.
Hopefully you will now have a profile set up!

Hey pilotterss!
Glad to see you here! I have a bit of a problem too. Don't give up when you have troubles with your profile, etc. Apparently there is some *ironing* going on, where wrinkles exist with the forum functioning smoothly. When it's all squared away. ( Is that Navy talk? Where do I GET the sayings and phrases I have tucked in the recesses of my mind???) Anyway, we hope you find a cozy place to settle in and see all there is to discover here. sandi
