I made a pot of beef soup the other day. We ate it for a couple of nights & then I decided to stretch it a little. So I chopped up a head of cabbage & added to it. It was yummy, and made the soup go even further. For the original pot of soup I used stew beef, a can of beef broth, canned diced tomatoes, celery, onions, green beans, and chopped green peppers. It was yummy like that, but we seemed to eat most of the veggies and leave the good tasting soup. That's when I got the idea to add cabbage.
Hope you like it!
