I really hope the bugs do get worked out or a new site is an option. I love George and the family's recipes and whole outlook on the LC WOL.
It's just the frustration of this particular website. And we all have so little time in a day anyway. After a few attempts I usually just say forget it and stop trying.
I had more luck this morning, though. It's a shame that the technical bugs have been a problem for so long, I think there are others out there like me that just gave it up and moved on.
I'll keep trying to get in and I'll let others that I know who had the same problem know that there's a possible fix on the way.

It's under Forum on the bar above. Also check out the help from the toolbar, and there is a Help forum also. You'll find a lot of answers there. Because of spam & bad posts being able attack this section, it has been closed to new posts, but it is still there to browse, glean answers from. (No spam there now.) Most problems have been addressed there. There is a sticky of FAQs in the General forum. It has links to lots of as the name says Most Frequently Asked Questions about Stella Style WOL!!!.

Hey Gang!

Okay, here's what happened with me: I was having trouble logging in as well, not being able to switch from the main page to the forum and back again; it worked that way for me the first time I was here... so I didn't realize it wasn't SUPPOSED to work like that. (By the way, I'm a Mac user, so it might have been just a weird Mac-Stella quirk that allowed me to do it back then.... )

I was gone for a while, then when I tried to log in again the same way I'd done before, it no longer worked... and I couldn't figure it out; with the help of a superhero of a moderator (not namin' no names, BILLIE), I was finally able to get in using the log-in to the home page for my profile,blog, pictures, private messages and such... and then logging out of there to come in over here and log-in using the forum log-in only... and thus far it's working....

Also, there was a slight problem with my showing up as two (slightly) different screen names... just enough to let me post under the erroneous one but not to access any of the things I needed to and my avatar was missing; I was also listed as having just joined and having only a handful of posts (and anybody can tell you, I talk way more than that! ) Anyway, I finally figured out what I was doing wrong... and thought I'd post it over here just in case it helps somebody else who might be doing the same simple mistake I made.

My screen name is Tia_Lisa_ but when I signed in this last time, I used the space bar instead of the space key (the upper case of the hyphen key on my keyboard... and I'm assuming all keyboards are pretty much the same; I've always used a Mac so I'm guessing) and that was the problem; apparently it was "reading" differently than I understood... and so now I always make sure to use the upper case key and NOT the spacebar. If you're experiencing a similar problem, check how you're typing in your name; you might be using the "wrong" key, too... or forgetting to add the space... or some other tiny little "misspelling" that's causing you not to be recognized. We know what we mean, but computers don't... which is why computers can never take over the world (aren't you glad? )... because they can't make assumptions/value judgements/leaps of logic like us addle-brained humans can (score one for us )

Anyhow, hope this helps; maybe if it does, I'll quit feeling like such a doof!
