When I login, I check the box to remember me. Sometimes I can come back in, and still be logged in, without having to login again. Sometimes I have to log in before I can post. That being said, it has always been like that for me. It has never kept me signed in consistantly. I almost always had to login again. Tho I could do it from the home page (or main site), and still be logged in here on the forums.

IF I go to the home page & log in there (I do this to send out birthday greetings), then I have to log in again when I come back here (every time).

Well, the only place I can log in is on the forum page. Unfortunately that login doesn't allow me to send PM's to anyone. I've tried several times to log in on the home page, but I get the same error over and over. I sure will be glad when the quirks are worked out..........and I know everyone else will be too. Until then, hang in there everyone. Just keep reading and post whenever you can.

Hmmmm,,,,,, June, not sure that I've had problems logging into the main area/home page. Best I can remember my login problems have alway been logging into the forums.
You might try clearing your internet browser catche. Using FireFox might possibly help, but I know some of you might not want a second browser on your computer, especially if you have a smaller hard drive. I know I have not wanted to put another on this laptop which I'm using right now. Stella Style does often work better on Fire Fox tho.

I wish I knew what to tell you on that one tho. Seems for some reason these problems do seem to effect different people differently tho. Again not sure why, other than different security and or browser settings on different computers possibly.

This is not a cure all. Sometimes it helps. But it isn't always helping on ths problem. But..... it might help some of the problems. ?????

Hiya all! Sorry long time no talky. My job has me working non-stop and I wish I had more time for the site. My father and I are discussing ways to either have a new site built for our community or somehow migrate the current site's information to a fresh site. (Retaining the wealth of knowledge built up in this forum is most important in my opinion.)

Until we get it all sorted out we can use the "Forum Only Login" to post. I have added a Forum Only Login Link to the main Login Page as well for ease.

It seems to only work now if you first log out of the main site and then use the Forum Only Login.

I'm not having problems with logging in to the forum, I can't seem to stay logged in when I try to fix my forum profile. I would like to change my signature and can't seem to do it.

I still can't do anything with my profile. It has some incorrect information there, but I can't change it. And the only way I can pm anyone is to answer one that has been sent to me. I can't initiate one at all.

Tony, if you can help me I'd greatly appreciate it. Dinah gave me a temporary password so I can get into the forums, but it isn't recognized anywhere else.

The logging out and then logging in has helped. It did work this time.

Today I had to repeatedly log in for the forum. Then it happened for me update my profile. I did all the fixes the site lists....
Is there a particular bug to the site that causes this?
I've been a member here for a while but I can only hang around until the frustration just makes me give it up.
I'm back and would like to stay but with the log in problems it's just too frustrating some days.
The problem occurs often enough that it was made a sticky. Isn't there a permanent fix?
I don't encounter the log in problem on any other forum or site I belong to.
Any ideas how to permanently fix it?
