I took my mom's recipe and used the Dreamfield lasagna noodles to make it low carb. Was great.

Lasagna

Serving Size : 8

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
1 Pound Ground Beef, Extra Lean
1 Clove Garlic -- Chopped
1 Package Lawry's Spaghetti Sauce
1 8oz can Tomato Sauce
2 14.5oz cans Tomato
7 Dreamfields Lasagna Noodles
8 Ounces Mozzarella Cheese -- About 12 Slices
8 Ounces American Cheese -- About 14 Slices
Parmesan Cheese -- Grated

Brown hamburger and garlic. Drain grease.

Add Spaghetti sauce, tomato sauce, and tomatoes. Simmer for about 1/2 hour.

Boil lasagna noodles in salt water and drain water.

In a greased 9 X 13 pan, first put a layer of meat mixture, then a layer of noodles, and then cheese.
(A layer of mozzarella and then a layer of American.) Repeat a second layer.
Then sprinkle parmesan cheese on top.

Bake for 1/2 hour at 350º or until done.

Freezes Well

Looked the recipe up and added the ingredients that I do not have to the grocery list. Thanks. I will give it a try.

I slice zucchini long-wise into thin slices and use that instead of noodles.....then just make lasagna as usual.
