Well, anyone need size 16-18 jeans? LOL I put my jeans on this morning and I guess I'm gonna have to buy some sz 14-16 now, because my youngest son said "mom, please get new jeans, you got room for another person in there!" Guess he is right, cause when you can go to take your jeans off without unbuttoning them, that might be an indicator for the need of some smaller britches! Gotta tell ya though, I love having this problem! _________________ What I accomplish tomorrow is determined by my choices today

That is SO exciting! I am going to be in trouble myself after while. I've been heavy for so long, that once I get past a size 22 (I'm down to a 26 now), that I won't have ANYTHING to wear. Will have to try thrift stores at that point, because I'm not spending a lot of money on clothes that I can only wear for a little while, you know??? My ultimate goal is to be in a size 12. If I was there, I could be content, you know?? Be able to buy clothes in REGULAR stores, not Catherine's or Lane Bryant, ever again! _________________ Christine

April,
You are such an inspiration -- are you sure you're not a Stella? Maybe a long lost cousin or something?
Thanks for being you, for sharing, for succeeding and for showing us the way.

You know what? I shop the thrift stores all the time, I have to. I cant afford to buy brand new everytime because my body shape is changing so much. I bought two new pairs of size 18 jeans back in february 2005 (the ones I am now getting rid of too LOL) because the ones before were falling off. I work in an office so as you can probably imagine I have to dress very nice, and let me tell you, it aint cheap! LOL Now I do every once in a while get a few new things, just as a reward I guess you could call it So here's my plan, shop the racks of the local thrift stores, pick and choose and get by till I am at my goal.....then baby watch out LOL cause this girl is going shopping! LOL
Rick, nope, I'm not a Stella LOL thats one good lookin' family, some good genes going on there huh? .... but if I was, I would have to be like the ugly cousin twice removed or something! LOL _________________ What I accomplish tomorrow is determined by my choices today

April, I'm with you about the thrift shops! I'm very lucky, my sister manages one! But I'm in TN and she's in Indiana, so I don't get to shop often. If she finds something she think's I'll like she'll save it for me. I'm also lucky that I work in an office with no dress code! I wear jeans and a shirt every day. I'm the office manager for a plating plant, and it's not the cleanest environment, but could be worse I guess.
Anyway, if you haven't gotten a taker for those Jeans, e-mail me! I'll be very happy to have hand me ups! LOL _________________ Dingie Dinah

Nothing beats the feeling of being able to wear a smaller size! WOW, your progress is nothing short of A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!
I have great luck at thrift stores and I also purchase a lot on EBAY. I bought a pair of Talbot's wool pants just last week and spent $10.99 including shipping. They were NEVER worn and would have been about $100 new.
