Hello everyone, It is Sunday already, last week seemed to go fast and yesterday we went shopping for fresh and frozen food. bought lots of rainbow trout and cod that was on sale tis week. And, stocked up on salad makings.

We're in a winter storm watch and IF it goes as they are saying we are in for a good ice and snow storm starting tonight until Tues. We'll see I'm so glad we are stocked good food for a good 2 weeks. And, I am also glad that we have a big generator to rely on as they are saying the wires could get heavy with the ice.

We are doing good, I don't think DH is completely on board cause this noon after we had lunch I said, "doesn't it feel great to eat healthy?" I did get a nice grunt from him : )....baby steps, baby steps.

Goals and Grats:

Keep looking through all my lc cookbooks for ways to spice up food and make a better presentation of it instead of just plopping it on his plate : ).

Though it's a very dreary day, I made a pound cake with DaVinci caramel syrup and the house smells so good.

I made a pork loin using George's recipe for the ham, the bourbon glaze, love that glaze.

I am grateful I am back on lc

I am grateful for all our military families serving across the world.
