My blender died today. So i go into the livingroom to tell my DH that it broke. He says well " how old was it" ? I said " 15 years old ". So he said well i guess you got your money worth lets go and get anotherone. So we go to our local store get a new kitchenaid,get ready to charge it. The clerk say's denied So they call up the credit card company, they said it was not in use so they closed our account! To mae along story short, we opened another card and we saved $73.00 on my new blender. What a good day for me!
I love it when what seems to be quite an aggravation turns out to be a really good thing!! And I really love saving money!!!!
Something similar happened to us at Sears a few years back. Don't remember if or how much we saved, but it does seem like we got a discount for opening the new card. _________________ Billie
