well monday is march 1 . spring is near. cannot tell right now with snow and more snow.
i am thinking about what i want in my garden this summer- i am thinking about starting a small box garden side by side with other garden.
looking for this year to grow a few yello w sqaush and zucchini and maybe eggplant.

Yes Sue, spring is coming! After feeding the chickens this very morning, I went for a walk around the property and saw 6 inches of tulips in 3 inches of snow! LOL the crazy butterfly bushes have leaves coming out everywhere, the roses are starting to bud out their red/green leaves and the crocuses and lilies are going to be blooming soon! These past three or four days are the first we have had over 40 degrees and I must say that after about 120 inches of snow in 4 months, I am so ready for the ground to dry up and start bringing some of that wonderful color and scents to our place! Seen about 15 robins in the yard eating the worms that have surfaced as the snow melting has saturated the ground immensely. I hear the birds singing as i type and I didn't realize just how much I missed that and how it brightened my spirit and my day. Hope you are well as is Samantha!
