by ya'll. been nice knowing you..... I probably won't be around much longer, cause my hubby is gonna KILL me if I keep bringing new appliances in the house! but this one is all ANNE's fault!!! Look what I just bought.....

http://www.qvc.com/qic/qvcapp.aspx/view.2/app.detail/params.tpl.csweb.cm_scid.cswb.item.K28072

It got some terrific reviews. I can't wait to get it. I was halfway watching this demo on QVC yesterday, but then Anne had to go and bring it up again! and it's on 5 pay..... what the heck, it's only money, and you can't take it with you, right?????

Cant wait to do some GRILLIN AND CHILLIN!!!!

Yeah, and now Anne wants one too, but it's going to have to wait until Anne finds some $$ on her money tree.

I, too, saw it on the Q and was so tempted but I know my DH would kill me as I DON'T need any more small appliances. I do have the George Foreman but almost dood it anyway. I know you'll enjoy it, let us know how it goes so we can all regret not getting one.

BTW, they just don't make things like they used it. The microwave that I bought back in the '70's I sold after 20 years and the person is still using it but the one I bought in the '80's died the other night. Had to run out buy a new one. I know some people don't like nuking food, but for those of us who rely on them this was a real emergency. (I did get a really good buy, Sears had the two cubic foot one on sale.)

Glad you got the indoor grill as well as the new gas one. Keep us informed.

Wowza that's gorgeous! I just can't do it - I live in the land of year round outdoor grilling. The only REAL advantage is it would never run out of gas on ALL major holidays because my squeeze didn't fill up any of the reserve tanks.

5 pay, huh?

That is real nice. I hardly ever use my George Foreman grill though.

I just took the QVC tour. I might end up really hating you Dinah and Annie before today is over.

We had power back after a few days with Wilma, but everything outside was a big mess. Of course, I was gone by then, but when I came back and had no kitchen, electric appliances were what saved me. I wasn't preparing gourmet meals, but I did get to eat at least.

Dinah, please stop trying to convince people to buy it. I really need them to have at least one left for me when I get paid next Wednesday. If everyone runs out and gets them, then I won't be able to have mine, and I NEED it!!

Mary, I SO know what you mean. I haven't broken it to DH that this is coming, especially since he doesn't have my outdoor grill completely put together yet! I have a George Foreman grill too, but the coating on it is all screwed up. I haven't used it in forever. Plus it's small, and I usually have to cook on it in several batches.

I can't wait for it to get here! and guess what my darling son wants for dinner? hamburger Steaks! ggggrrrr no outdoor, and no indoor grill. I guess I'll use the broiler, but I hate cleaning that broiler pan! Oh well.....
