Mama Lupe Lo Carb Tortillas. I use them for pizza all the time.

Top the tortilla with pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, and your favorite toppings, place on a broiler type pan (one with holes or slots), and place this on the middle rack of your oven. Bake at 425 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes a delicious pizza, with only 3 net impact carbs from the crust. Also works great as a Mexican pizza, with taco sauce instead of pizza sauce, taco meat and taco toppings. Enjoy.

PS...I also cut them into small wedges, and deep fry to make chips, then serve with salsa, or salsa con queso.

Thanks Marion!
I have done this too (not sure I've ever used that particular brand), but it has been a long time.

mmmhhh - soudns so so good - one more suggestion - I dont deep fry my wedges - I simply put them in the oven on a cookie sheet and it works just as well and I dont have the fat intake what I have with the other version - but both work just so great and they are a yummmmmmy snack

only one thing - dont let them get to dark - the chips turn then bitter

I thought of that the other day...I'll have to do that, too. I used olive oil, hoping for some good fats, but I would like a better way. I bet it would be a good cracker substitute too.

yes Marion - if you just bake them on low temp in the oven they are great crackers and chips --- one of my staples of the low carb life

I also bake my wedges in the oven. I like to take melted butter and spray them then top with cinnamon and artificial sweetener. Have been know to use splenda, but have been using stevia and xylitol lately.

tastes alot like cinnamon crispas from taco bell, well the older ones anyway!

You can also do this with Flat out wraps. I get the ones made with wheat and flax.

I have some (different brands) in the freezer that I need to get out and bake. Gotta try some with the "sweetened cinnamon". I use different sweeteners at different times.
