On Saturday, I tried making the Pecan Macaroons. First...I am not a great cook. I get distracted. Anyway, I didn't whisk the egg whites long enough and the batter was not "moundy" but more like cake batter. So I sprayed a loaf pan with "PAM", added the batter and baked at 325 for 15 minutes. The "cake" only rose about 1/2". I cut into small squares and served warm. It was amazing! So even if you mess up, it is still sooooo good. I never got to the ganache.
Last night, I made the Spinach and Artichoke stuffed chicken. My chx beasts kind of fell apart when I beat them. But the end product still looked beautiful. And delicious. I was surprised at how easy these were to make.
Both are keepers. I will try the macaroons again and make them right!
