I have a ton of the FIRM Dvd's and I love them!! Exclamation They really get your whole body into sahep and you get a great cardio as well as muscle toning workout! I also have the windsor Pilates dvd's and like those. I just bought the Core dvd and the ball I can't wait to try. I realy feel taht you need to include exercise into the way of life eating or else you are jipping yourself. You can be thin but still unhealthy. Exercise is so important. I walk on my treadmilll and use ym recumbant bike as well. If I do these things withour eating well I find I do not lose weight. I also find taht if I low-carb or eat fewer calories I still do not do well unless I combine both eating and exercise into the equation. Very Happy

I really like the firm videos too....I have the set that came with the "fanny lifter" and everytime I do them my muscles are sore the next day. I have a collection of all different kinds of videos and I switch around a lot so I wont get bored. I really like the Belly Dancing videos I have also.

oooo, belly dancing video. sounds interesting! Yeah, I too, like to mix up the vidoes I do so I do not get bored. I noticed too I gained about 5 lbs in muscle when I first started too. It was scary at first but I know it is a good thing. I like that the FIRM also has a forum to post on and you can get video rotations already listed for you to do so you do not have to think about which video to use, it is all done for you. I have the ones taht g woth the fanny lifte (plus the fanny lifter) and the BOX and others that I bought seperately on Eaby and I have one from 9 years ago when i first got married! I love to look good. losing weight is fine but you can still be skinny and unhealthy. You need to be fit and I love the way fit looks better than just thin. Razz

Oh I couldnt agree more with you! I am a size 12-14 right now and I would like to go to maybe an 8, but I never want to look really skinny. I am just looking to slim down and get some great abs, arms, and legs. I didn't know you could go to the Firm site and get a video rotation. I will have to do that! How many days do you work out? I try to get 3-4 days in but I do Banquets and Room Service and a lot of the times after working an 8-12 hour shift or longer and running around all day I am exhausted, so I try to do at least weights.

Yeah, I think you have to join the Belivers club though. It does not cost much but for to the FIRM website to join it. It is great. I love the viseo rotations and they come up with different ones every month. last month they had a speacial boot camp roataion you could join. I try to get in 3-4 a week as well. I have 2 pre-schoolers and it is hard to do even taht at times.

That sounds interesting. Is it fun? I like fun things. I do have a treadmill and a recumbant bike but the only time I can find to work out are after the kids are in bed. That makes it hard to get to sleep soI am stuck. I was really sick with the flu for about 4 weeks recently. It was viral then bacterial and so I did nothing for a month. I am so mad as I was doing so well with the firm dvd's and then nothing, for a month. It is hard to get back into it. I am trying though. Plus I have a herniated disc in my lower back so AB work is not easy for me to do without aggrivatiing the disc and hurting myself. I was told by my chiropractor to use the exercise ball. I have the Core Secrets ball and DVD's but they came in just as I got sick so I have not opened it yet. I hope to on Monday.

I really like it because the treadmill and other things can really hurt my knees and ankles if I start to go really fast, even though I still use them at my gym sometimes. The gazelle is really low impact so it usually doesn't bother them. You shouldn't beat yourself up about being sick! Your body needed the rest Smile Plus a herniated disk....a lot of people wouldn't even consider doing things that might strain it. If you work your abs does it help it at all?

actually I end up in a ton of pain when i do a lot of ab work on the floor. My abs feels great but my back is so bad I have to se it all night and sometimes I have a hard time walking because of it. I can use the ball though and do ab work on that without hurting my back.
