Ok... I'm going to bore you with one more recipe.... my mom made this when we were kids and I love this.
Hot dogs
American Cheese
pickles (optional)
Bacon
Make a slit in hot dogs leaving ends in tact. Fill with cheese. If you like
add a slice of pickle and then wrap the slice (you may need two) of bacon around the hot dog. Bake at 350 for about 15 to 20 minutes. |

sounds good. I think we had these as kids too. Make sure you read the label on the dogs a lot of brands add sugar. And have carbs listed. I did find one brand that didn't add any sugar and had no carbs or maybe 1 carb. but I don't eat them often. _________________ 269/224/160

Here's another way...these are "quails"....
SLice into hot dog, stuff with cheddar cheese, and wrap hot dog with uncooked bacon. Put on baking sheet under broiler. Broil until bacon is crisp. Yummy! |
