White Cocolate Cheesecake
5 oz white chocolate(I haven't used Milk but it should work..SF)
3-8 oz Philly Cream Cheese
1/2 to 1 c Sweetener- i use Wheylow...1/2 if the choc has a sweetener..more if it doesn't
4 eggs-room temp
1 c sour cream
1 T Vanilla
325 deg...9" cheesecake pan....Wrap with foil to prevent leakage
Melt choc in double boiler-set aside
Beat cream cheese and sweetener about 3 min- add eggs one at a time...don't overbeatFold in melted choc-vanilla and beat in sour cream till just blended-Set pan inside another pan filled with hot water half way up....bake 50 min-turn off oven without opening door and let stay in oven 1 hr..take out of oven and put on cooling rack 1 hr ...cover with plastic wrap and put in fridge overnight.
If you can't find SF white choc..i use SS brand..I bet milk choc would work the same...also if you want a great crust...make your Black Cocoa Cookies-make crumbs out of about half the recipe- add about 2 T melted butter-put in your springform pan and bake 8 min...cool well and use for the crust--it is very good this way...this recipe was taken off the Somersize boards...you can also leave out the choc altogether and add some lemon oil for a traditional cheesecake- still very good!!! _________________ cuznliz
