Tonight we are having venison mini roasts that we got a couple of months ago reduced in price from my favourite store and threw in the freezer, my idea was to make a redcurrant and red wine sauce to go over them but alas I cannot have that now as the redcurrant jelly is loaded with sugar, and suggestions as to a sauce I can use for the venison would be greatly appreciated, I really dont know what to make with it, I have not had venison that often as It isn't my favourite meat but seeing as we have it and money is tight out it comes LOL we have to go to the store later anyway so I can pick some bits up if needed.
