Last Sunday, I threw out my back, doing nothing really. I reached forward to pick up a plastic stand, and whammo, it went out. I went to the Chiropractor 4 day this week, without much relief.
This happens to me every year or so, and usually the Chiropractor is able to get it back in within a couple of days.
About 2 weeks ago, we got one of those tempurpedic matrasses, the space foam one. I really like the comfort, but after 6 days of incredible pain, I decided to sleep in our guest room last night, which has a regular pillow top matress, and this morning I woke up with almost no pain.
So now I am wondering if the new matress is the problem. I asked the Chiropractor, and he said that many of his patients have them and like them, but that he has had a couple that have had problems within a week or two of getting them.
Anybody here had any experiences, good or bad with them? I have a 90 night guarantee, and can exchange it for a regular mattress, so just wondering if anybody can shed some light? _________________ You can get what you want in life, if you help enough people get what they want--Zig Ziglar

| Sorry I can't help you but I do know someone who did just buy one and they seem to love it, but it has only been barely a couple of weeks they have had it. I wonder if they will have similar problems. Thanks for posting so I can warn them of the possibility. |

Mark, I recently had a three level spinal fusion on L3, 4 and 5. I have a bar and four screws in my back. A lot of times when people have back trouble, they need FIRM support to correctly align the spine. I have a Temperflow visco-elastic mattress and have no problems but often times at night you will find me laying in the floor, with my knees and legs up on the love seat watching TV as it gives me relief BEFORE bed. Chiropractors are usually good at getting the "kinks" out but if this persist, I would do a trial week in the guest room versus a trial week in your regular bed and see what the results are. The comfy foam just may be the culprit. Take care and hope you recover soon,
