| Today I bought walk away the pounds video. It`s a 30 min tape, and when your done, you`ve walked 2 miles. That`s what I usually walk 4 or 5 days a wk at the park. But,today I had some things to do.So,I seen this at walmart and bought it.A good workout. Now I don`t have any excuses when it`s raining,I can still walk my 2 miles. That sounds just like something I could use. I hate to walk in the rain and cold.

Hey CD, I think I might have almost every tape and video Leslie Sansone put on themarket. I was really into walking indoors because it's so convenient. I did it for a long time and lost weight and kept it off. Somewhere along the line I stopped. Been thinking about getting back on track (no pun intended) with it after I get a good portion of my weight off. I'm new to LC'ng and doing great. Keep walking. You'll see results soon

I LOVE Leslie's walk away the pounds tapes. I just can't express how much I love them. I currently own walk and kick and walk and jog. I excersize to her tapes 4 days a week. They are low impact and very easy to do.

I'm so happy to see others who use the Walk Away The Pounds tapes. I ordered my tapes 3 years ago after seeing an infomercial. I didn't really commit to doing them until a few months ago. Yes, they are great; low impact, easy to keep up with, and challenging at the same time. I feel most comfortable doing the 2 mile walk, but now I don't even lose my breath doing it. So, I've started in on the 3 mile walk. It's a killer, but a necessary evil to get this weight off I do the tapes 4 days a week, too. My goal is to get up to six days a week, but I have to get up early(5:00 am) to exercise, else my children will not give me a chance to work out. Happy Walking! _________________ Beauty is skin deep, but ugly is to the bone! |

Glad to hear about the tapes. Since it is getting hot and humid here, I can't breathe walking outside. I'll check my WalMart. Hope it's 6 bucks there, too!!!
BTW, has anyone tried Windsor Pilates? I bought the 3-tape set at WalMart. I have issues with my neck, but very clear instructions are given on how to modify for your fitness level.
Thanks for the tip! Now all I need to do is make the time to do this stuff! |

Great thread.
WATP tapes are awesome! For a while I did the 2 mile early in the day & the 1 mile in the evening with hubby. I had to back off of them for a while when my back issues started, but I will still "walk" with my own music a good bit of the time. At Curves the other day I realized I did those moves on the recovery boards, lol.
The Winsor Pilates DVD is good, but I can only do so many of the moves. I love the hundred & try to do that one as often as possible. It had made a difference in my belly.

I've done the walk away the pounds videos too. They're great for when you want to get active inside, but I started to get annoyed with the perkiness, lol. Then my mom asked to borrow them so I shipped them up to Vermont so she could try them. She didn't mind the perkiness--she loves Richard Simmons so no problem there, lol.
Now I'm on the hunt for some new videos. I'm looking for something real active hopefully something dance-y.
Anywhoooooo, WATP is a great thing for when you have to stay inside.
