Hey guys and gals! Just wanted to share an idea/tip that I did yesterday that really worked well for me! I had bought 2 packs of Bamboo skewers (you know for chicken on a stick or kabobs) They come a hundred to a pck for 1.00. I had lots leftover so I took a pile out, put them on a platter on the table at my daughters party yesterday. No more reaching or handing! Everyone used their sticks to get chicken, veggies, meat roll ups, cheeses, shrimp, cookies and when we were done, I just threw them away. No more filling my dishwashing silverware basket up after a party! Plus the kids really had a ball using them (age appropriate applies here) I give everyone saucers and they helped themselves. I will be using this again! Take care and try it, it's a lot of fun,

DAvid great idea ! I have several of these packs and it just so happens that my daughter is having a New Years Party here with about 15 others. This will sure beat buying plastic or washing more utinsels after the party. Thanks for sharing.

I found the thread useful so thought of giving it a bump!

I used this method when we had a friends gathering of almost 20 last week. Trust me, It'll save you a lot of hassle later on
