Hey guys! It has been a little slow in here and I thought I would post some informative information that you all ready know but it is still worth repeating over and over to prevent dangerous complications later on! The self testiclular exam is so very important. Always do this at least twice a year. Preventative early detection is key here! Click on this very informative link Arrow http://tcrc.acor.org/tcexam.html
See ya around and don't forget this most important but yet often overlooked attention to detail. It could very well save your life,
David Wink

It has been quiet in here, and thanks for a good post. We men often don't do a very good job, when it comes to taking care of our health. I don't know the statistics, but testicular cancer is one of the bigger killers in men, and from what I understand, it is generally very treatable if caught early enough.

I think that as men, most of us need to visit the doctor at least once a year, even when we're healthy, and more often, when we're not. I know I constantly have to "kick" myself to make an appointment for every 3 months to monitor my labs.

So men, I challenge you to take charge of your health and if you can't remember the last time you went to the doc, or you haven't been since you were supposed to go, make an appointment and report in here.

Sorry for the threadjack David, but our health is too important, and most of us just don't take it as serious as we should alot of the time.

Take care men, and speak up.

Mark

How true! Unfortunately, I have had a few scares in the past and have had multiple ultrasounds. First in the Navy in 1992 and then a few years back. Fortunately, I'm ok...no cancer. Just a weirdness about me.... ahem, nuff said!

David, you ARE exactly right about this. Self-exams are very important.
