You're welcome Donna. Hope you enjoy it.
It is good Sue. At least I think it is, and everyone enjoyed it when I fixed it for the family that day. _________________ Billie

| Wow! Billie, this is a wonderful recipe. I didn't have thighs so I used breasts which I don't like as well because they are drier meat. I also didn't have dried buttermilk so I put a couple of tablespoons of buttermilk. Well, it didn't matter. When I got home it was ready and it was wonderful. The breast just fell apart and the sauce is great. I used the whole sauce recipe which worked out well because I like sauces. I will have to try it with thighs. Thanks for sharing. This will defiantly be a regular in my house. Donna |

Donna, I'm so glad you liked it!!! I used thighs because that is what I had on hand (I like thighs better too, for the same reason you do). But I have made breasts in another dish that was one of the inspirations for this one, and they were good. If I had chicken breasts this is definitely a dish I would make with it.
And I just happened to have the pwd buttermilk, so I added it.
The dish could be made completely omiting the buttermilk if you had neither. _________________ Billie

| Well, Billie, I made this again and this time I used thighs, which I love, and it was even better. This is one of my favorite recipes. It is so easy. I put it in the crockpot and it is ready when I get home. I love it. Donna |

I'm glad you like it Donna!!!
Yes, thighs are my favorite too! Breasts are drier, tho I think this would be a good way to fix breasts. Think it would help hold the moisture. _________________ Billie

Hey, I've never seen this one. It sounds scrumptious and I'm gonna try it. Even DH will like this one I bet. And I just LOVE chicken thighs. Remember when we all did lowfat and could only eat boneless, skinless chicken breasts on our diet? Oh the humanity...

Hope ya like it Angie!
And a note, for those who actually prefer the breasts (or that's all they have), you could also use those. I used thighs, cause that's what I prefer, and had on hand. _________________ Billie
