My best friend in the world, my sister, was just diagnosed with breast cancer. THey called her Monday to confirm. I have always donated to the cause but it has never hit home so hard as it has this week. It looks good, the area is small. she will have surgery the 17th of October. She's having it cut out then going on hormone therapy for 5 yrs. My sister is and has always been my strength. Please god keep her safe without her I just don't know what I'd do.

I can relate too. One of my best friends was recently diagnosed with breast cancer also. She will start on a really bad chemo next month (4 doses every 3 weeks) and will also be taking another kind of chemo at the same time for one year. After she gets done with the 4 doses of bad chemo, she starts getting radiation 5 days a week. The strange thing was that she felt no lump whatsoever, didn't feel bad - nothing. It is in her duct area of her breast. Hers is called linear ductal carcinoma.

Her name is Shelly - could you pray for her?

Marie and April - my prayers are with you.

Thank you so much
Coleen
