Hi Everyone!
I am having a horrible time staying on track and I could use some motivation!

Does anyone have any exciting recipes or advice? I have put up motivational signs in the house and put up some old pictures of what I want to shrink to!

Thanks,
LowCarbGirl

"Skinnysongs"

A great new CD that's out. You can also buy T-shirts to go with the songs.

Look it up www.skinnysongs.com

It got me moving.

Do you have George's cookbooks?? If not I highly recommend them. They are packed full of recipes. Look through the recipes on this site, there are lots and lots.

In your mind, don't look at this as a diet, but rather as a healthy way of eating, that really doesn't restrict you, except that you have to eat healthy, naturally low carb foods. Vary a lot what you eat, don't just eat the same things every day...you'll quickly tire. Make something like a cheese cake to treat yourself.

Finally, when you do cook good, healthy, low carb meals, cook enough to freeze. Don't eat leftovers, unless you really like it, instead, freeze it. (I suggest labeling and dating, it all starts to look the same frozen!!) Soon you will have a big variety of easy to warm up choices, again this should help with the boredom and help to keep you motivated.

If none of that works, just do what I have to do, (all too often I might add), and that's kick yourself in the backside, and make yourself get with the program. (Just kidding ya, but it does work).

I know it can be tough staying motivated, just look forward and remember that you are worth it.

Best Wishes,

Mark
