I wanna come over to your house tonight! I don't feel like cooking today and man is this stuff good! I really didn't think I'd like that sauce, given the ingredients, but it's yummy! Enjoy Dinah!

I'm glad you folks enjoy this recipe. It's definitely one of my favorites. Angie, I couldn't imagine the sauce being very tasty either. Whoever heard of chicken broth in bbq sauce.........but it's really good. Sometimes I use the beef broth if I don't have chicken, and it's just as good.

Do any of you make beer can chicken.......or as Paula Deen says "beer in the rear" chicken? I sometimes take an empty soda can & fill it half way with this bbq sauce. When I do that, I use George's Blackening Seasoning as a rub on the chicken. Oh man is this ever good. Give it a try if you haven't.

Hugs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ya know what? I made this bbq sauce recipe x 4 on Saturday, and I know I was having a dingie day, but I THINK instead of 4 tsps of pepper, I may have used 4 tblsp's!!!

It is spicy hot! Not sure my group will eat it..... I added a touch more splenda too, cause we like it sweet. No one was home to eat it yesterday, so it's gonna be supper tonight.... Thanks again Junie Poo! And if it's too hot, I may use it for the beer in the rear chicken. Seems everyone has whole chickens on sale around here. STRETCH!!!! that budget!!!

Wow that was a better deal than mine. I bought a whole loin at Sams Club.....froze half and I'm going to cook the other one tomorrow. I think I'm going to do it on the rotisserie if the weather is ok. If not I'll cook it in the crockpot.

Enjoy!! BBQ sounds really yummy about now.

I bought 2 and will cut one into chops, and freeze, and the other i'll probably freeze whole. couldn't pass up the price! they also had ground chuck for 1.89 i think it was. i bought 5 big packages.... I only spent about $50 and i filled the freezer! just couldn't pass up those prices.

thanks for sharing your Butt with us Junie-poo!!!!

Dinah, I hope your pork was delish!! I fixed the pork loin and made cole slaw. I used Georges blackening seasoning on the pork. Oh my that stuff is good. Then I cooked it in the oven until fork tender. My goodness.....that stuff is good. I didn't use any of the bbq sauce. I had enough wonderful drippings in the bottom of the pan. We just spooned a little over the top. Yummy!

Have a great week!
