I just found this. I've never tired it (or even thought about doing it this way).
Slow cooker (Crock pot)
Place the spaghetti squash in the slow cooker and add 2 cups of water
Pierce the whole shell several times with a large fork or skewer
Cover
Cook on low for 8 to 9 hours _________________ Billie

I never thought about doing it in a crock pot either. I wonder if it would come out caramelized and/or mushy though.
This made me think, I wonder if you could do spag squash in a pressure cooker? I might try that sometime. I better research it first so I don't kill us all. I can hear it now...
In other news...a spaghetti squash kills dingbat in the kitchen. Family members report that they will miss her but are surprised it hasn't happened a lot sooner.

girl you are nutz!!!!
I bet this would work, but i doubt it will carmelize. i'd be afraid to pressure cook it! but I'm kinda scared of my pressure cooker anyway. I bet I haven't used it 5 times since I bought it! _________________ Dingie Dinah

Get David to put it in the pressure cooker.
He'll try anything in a pressure cooker. |

No way, I'm gonna be buried with them. Never know when in the afterlife a big ol chocolate craving will hit you.

I don't like it caramelized.
One time I actually did open the cooker before all the pressure was released and got a nice burn on my hands but I wasn't killed. Chalk that one up to a learning experience for sure.....boy you should see my collection of "learning experiences."

It is fun to read some of these old posts ........ Too funny, Angie!!
Has anyone tried the crockpot spaghetti squash, yet? I think it sounds like it would work - and then after that you could cook the sauce in the crock pot, too! Start a recipe today - eat it tomorrow!!
